One of the very best breeders in the world. The name Dainichi is awe-inspiring within the koi world and rightly so. The quality that floats around on the farm is breathtaking. Dainichi is at the basis of several bloodlines and has more than 300,000 m2 of mud ponds.
In 2004, things went completely wrong during a major earthquake, but Dainichi fought back and has one of the largest and best farms in Japan with 11 koi houses and 160 mud ponds. Multiple winner of major prizes.
