This koi farm is the basis of the Kobayashi Showa bloodline, a bloodline known for the pure red, lacquer black sumi and white shiroji. His showa are therefore the signboard for grower Tadashi Kobayashi, son of founder Kaneichi Kobayashi. However, the ochiba and shiro utsuri are also of good quality.
